As with anyone who is on the go and would want to hydrate themselves, we would never be without a trusty water bottle or a tumbler. However, there are occasions where you spilled something because you accidentally hit it with your elbow, or any other parts of the body. Don’t you wish there is a product that will not topple over when it’s hit by accident?
So a few months ago, I decided that it’s time to get a product that should reduce these incidents from happening and stumbled upon a product called “Mighty Mug“. This product isn’t new to the market and have been featured by Unbox Therapy in one of their videos.
The Mighty Mug is a tip-resistant tumbler made with double-wall plastic that fits comfortably in the car’s cup holder. It’s BPA free and dishwasher safe. It will grip to any solid, flat, non-porous surfaces (desks, tables) and it’s not going anywhere. However, when you lift it straight up, you won’t face any resistance. All of this is thanks to its “Smartgrip” technology which is the killer feature at the bottom of the mug. Much like a suction cup, it keeps the mug from being knocked over. This allows The Mighty Mug to sit securely on any surface and “stick” itself to it. It cannot be knocked over if you bump into it and the only way to release the suction is if you purposely lift the mug straight up from its resting place.
Suctions on cups are nothing new but they usually end in spilled drinks and damaged goods. However, on many tests that I’ve done, Mighty Mug hold true to its word.
I got my black Mighty Mug Go tumbler from a nearby supermarket at only S$24.90. It features a non-slip exterior and has an easy grip top that twists into the mug securely with a flip off cap. The Mighty Mug Go can hold up to 470ml of liquid or 16 ounces.
Currently, they do not import “Mighty Mug Ice” and “Mighty Mug Barware” to Singapore. Mighty Mug is sold in supermarkets and online via Lazada, Amazon, Qoo10 and JML.
